How did you hear about Badfic? I have several IRL and Internet friends in Badfic, and I've been looking at the game for some time.

IC Information
Character Name: Becky Rosen
Name that appears on plaque: Becky Rosen
Character Journal: [personal profile] chest_rubber
Canon: Supernatural
Point in Canon:
Age: 28
Birthday: No canon birthday. Making it Nov. 30th.
Appearance: 5'4", blond hair, slender but not overly fit, pretty average attire.

Abilities:
Becky can memorize anything, even if it seems totally random. She's especially driven to memorization if the person on the receiving end is very important to her. When it comes to matters she knows, she's extremely intelligent. Her knowledge of Supernatural, the books in the series, she knows everything, and is very passionate about her knowledge. She's quick on her feet, even if she doesn't always make the right choice. She has pretty good acting skills. They aren't great, but she could trick a demon with her acting skills, and that's not easy to do.

Personality: Becky is an overly excited fan of Supernatural, the books by Chuck Shurley. She knows and adores everything about them. She spent a lot of time fantasizing over them. She even wrote fan fiction. Dean and Sam slash fan fiction, to be exact. That doesn't mean she wants them together. She would rather pair Sam with herself. When she first met Sam in person, she ran his hand all over his chest, half in disbelief and half because she wanted to. Later, she almost traded her soul to a crossroads demon for his love.

When it comes to matters that she knows, she's pretty intelligent. She retains information really well, and can rattle off facts in a constant stream easily enough, even when she's in a delighted fluster. After meeting Sam and Dean, she was able to pick out other characters from the books just by appearance and speech. She did so with Crowley. When it comes to Dean and Sam's job, she knows all of the specifics. She knows all the monsters, and the way they do their work. After she got to work with Sam, she learned more about the actual field work.

Unfortunately, her intelligence can sometimes get drowned out by her passion, stubbornness, impulsiveness, and emotions. She doesn't always think things through when she really wants something. The near crossroads deal for Sam's love would fit here. All of her love for Supernatural would also fit here. She once yelled at a guy that was criticizing the books too much by yelling at him in a room full of people. When it comes to love, that impulsiveness is the worst. She'll get easily impressed by someone and she'll throw herself at them. Mainly, this happened with Sam, but this did also happen with Chuck. She tried to make them both last, but both of them rejected her.

That doesn't mean those four are negative qualities. When Sam was in risk of dying by a demon's hand, she grabbed their demon's blade and killed it without even second guessing herself. Although the initial attack seemed to surprise her, she didn't have any lasting regrets from taking the life. She's also pretty open with her emotions. Although she can seem overly enthusiastic about those feelings, she is very sincere with them. She can even manage a serious conversation or two if she can find someone that she relates to.

She's pretty vindictive. In high school she was called a number of names and made fun of. She went back to her high school reunion to show off Sam. When she got the effect that she wanted from one of the folks, she tweeted about it as soon as they left. When Dean upset her, she glared at him and refused to talk with him. But if her heart is broken, she doesn't act on it. After Sam and Chuck, she appears to be use to it. Although it greatly upset her, she won't act rashly towards them. She actually believes that the ending of both relationships was her fault.

She's good at acting a role. Well, good enough to help Sam out on a case once. She was able to act like the press easily enough, and she was able to trick a crossroads demon into a devil's trap.

Really, that loud, obnoxious personality is a cover for what she really thinks about herself. She has very little self-confidence. She considers herself a loser in everything that she does. She wants someone that loves her for who she is, but she can't find someone like that. The only place that anyone seemed to understand her was the Supernatural message boards. She only talks about that sort of thing to the people that she's emotional close to, even if they aren't close to her (Sam, for instance).

Strengths:
- Intelligence - She's very good at retaining information, memorizing things even if it seems random,
- Acting - She does this well enough to trick a demon, and that says something.
- Passion - When she gets passionate about something, she goes all out. She finds out everything she can about the subject and seeps it into her core.

Weaknesses:
- Passion/Emotions - These two will often overpower her intelligence.
- Impressive Men - The moment some man impresses her, she falls head over heels for them, even if they don't feel the same about her.
- Self-confidence - Her self-confidence is non-existent.
- Talkative - Becky is extremely talkative. In high school, they called her 'Yacky Becky' for a reason. Sometimes, people can't get a word in.
- Stubborn - Most of the time, her want to be right and her disbelief in herself often overrides everything else in her life.

History: A lot of Becky's past isn't known. At 11, she caught her first fish at her parents summer cabin. Other than that, what is known is pretty negative towards her. She was picked on in school. In high school, students called her 'Yacky Becky'. She still takes it pretty personally, and appears hurt when someone brings it up.

At some point in her adult years, she started reading Supernatural. She fell in love with the books, the writer, and the characters. The character arc where Sam felt like he was a freak she said that she related. That's where her intense love for him began. Before she knew Chuck in person, she sent the author several letters and food in the mail, including marzipan that she made. She made her own website for Supernatural, morethanbrothers.com, and joined the message boards to interact with other friends. She stated in the series that she understood the people on the boards, and they understood her.

One day, Chuck called her and asked her to send a message to Sam and Dean. At first, she thought he was just being mean, but the moment he said they were real, she said, "I knew it!" She drove to their location and told them what Chuck wanted her to without a second thought. While meeting them, she rubbed her hand all over Sam's torso and refused to stop.

In her next appearance, she stole Chuck's phone and texted Sam, telling him to show up at a hotel because it was life or death. They arrived, and she was thrilled to see them, especially Sam. She wanted them to see the first ever Supernatural convention. There, several ghosts ended up actually existing in the hotel. Becky didn't directly deal with them, but Chuck had a rather bad-ass moment with one and saved one of the hotel employees from getting attacked in a room full of people. Becky was impressed. So impressed, in fact, that she started dating Chuck.

During the space that she wasn't in the show, Chuck dumped her. She blamed this on her vibrant sexuality. Later, she met a man in the erotic horror section of the bookstore. He started giving her a love potion that she could use on the man she wanted to marry. He would love her, and she could marry him. The potion was free, because they were friends.

She used the potion on Sam and ended up marrying him. When the potion started wearing off, she contacted her friend and she tried to get more. He said that she could only get more of the potion if she gave him her soul. That's what crossroad demons do, after all. She thought about it, and talked it over with Sam. They came up with a plan to trick the demon. She played like she was agreeing to the contract, only to trap him in a devil's trap. When another demon showed up and Sam and Dean were in a pickle, Becky came in with the demon's blade and saved Sam from getting attacked. Later, the crossroads demon was taken by Crowley, who she recognized immediately. Sam and Becky got a divorce, and they went their separate ways. Becky came to the game as soon as Sam and Dean left.

First Person Sample:
[Video.

Becky comes on the screen, and she looks super excited. She's grinning from ear to ear, and she's looking around at everything.]

Oh wow! Okay, I've never had anything like this happen to me before. First, I was at home and the next thing I know, I'm in a totally different room and my name is on the outside.

[The camera flashes over. There's her name. The camera comes back to her.]

It's awesome! But I need to know what's going on. I'm all for the unusual, but I don't remember this from anything I've read. Does anyone know what's going on here? I would love any information that you can give me.

Third Person Sample:
Becky heard her apartment door shut and she sighed, hiding her head in the crook of her arm against the table. Sam was gone. Gone forever. There was no way she was going to be able to see him again. Chuck was gone too. With that went knowing what Sam was doing. That was it. End of the line. It meant more than just the end of seeing him. It meant the end of Supernatural for her. No more online chats. No more fan fiction. There's no way her heart could take it. She would just go back to being Becky. Yacky Becky - loser in everything. She pulled her feet onto the chair, resting her arms and head on her knees. She held back tears, sniffling once before letting out another sigh. A shaky one, this time. She had to hold herself together, but she couldn't.

Then she shifted. The chair below her was gone, replaced with something far softer. She opened her eyes, taking in her jeans for a moment before lifting her head. The space wasn't hers. She blinked, the tears that wanted to well up now gone. Her arms dropped to the bed below her, legs stretching out for a moment before she pushed herself onto the floor. She looked around, a little worry and excitement coming over her. This was different. Supernatural different!

Becky rushed to the door and opened it, showing the long hallway with many doors. Some doors nearby had names written. She looked back to the door she just left. There was a name on the outside. Hers. She stared for a moment before a huge grin spread across her face. "Yes!"

She rushed back into the room to get a look around. It didn't look anything like her apartment, but she was alright with that. She looked under the bed, in the closet, and anywhere else something could be hiding. The only thing she managed to find was a small device. It didn't look like anything special at first. Then she started looking through it. There's a main communication board, and several different ways to post. This thing was way cooler than a cell phone. It was like one of those things from a science fiction show or something.

She had to make a post. She had to get involved with these people. Surely they would understand how awesome this is. And maybe Sam would be here. After all, weird things always happen to the Winchesters. She turned on a video and started. "Okay, wow, I've never had anything like this happen to me before."

Notes: Since she writes fan fiction, I believe that she reads it. The only fandom she'll read is the Supernatural stuff from her world. No notable titles from the Supernatural fan fiction here will cross into this game.

Bonus: Well, she writes fan fiction, so I feel like she might actually have a bit of an understanding for the game, maybe. Plus, she's obnoxious and I love her. Not in the way she loves Sam. Let's not get confused here.
